Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and patient-focused Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist at Team Rehabilitation, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with the goal of helping them recover from injuries, manage pain, and regain mobility. You will work closely with our team to provide exceptional care and achieve measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new patients and develop plans of care to address their medical and emotional needs.
• Treat patients and set measurable, functional goals to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients on treatment options and home exercises to complement their clinical sessions.
• Supervise aides in providing modalities and setting up/cleaning up duties for non-Medicare and non-BCBSM patients.
• Monitor and re-evaluate patient progress, revising plans of care and resetting goals as needed.
• Address pain management as a crucial component of care, utilizing techniques to reduce pain and increase functions and everyday activities.
• Determine when to discharge patients, teaching them proper mechanics, ergonomics, and strategies to reduce future incidents.
• Write timely and accurate documentation, including evaluations, re-evaluations, discharges, and daily progress notes.
• Achieve a reasonable level of productivity, depending on referrals and patient types.
• Participate in research studies and help develop protocols for common diagnoses.
• Contribute to policy, procedure, and strategy development to ensure high-quality care across all Team Rehabilitation clinics.
• Handle patient feedback and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Stay updated in the latest research and techniques, attending company in-house CEUs and using continuing education allowances for seminars, workshops, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Valid Physical Therapy License.
