Job Overview

NIRVANA SKY GROUP LLC is actively seeking a committed Behavior Support Specialist to contribute to a school district in Hemet, CA. This role is a per diem position within our organization.

Available Shifts:

  • Flexible scheduling options
  • Potential for split morning and evening shifts
  • Early start times as early as 5 AM and late end times up to 7 PM
  • Per Diem status only

Essential Qualifications:

  • At least one year (12 months) of experience in a similar role
  • Current CPR certification (American Heart Association)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the execution of behavior intervention strategies under the guidance of a BCBA
  • Support educators and staff in the application of behavior intervention strategies
  • Facilitate classroom management and educational activities with oversight from the BCBA
  • Deliver specialized direct care tailored to individual student needs
  • Provide behavioral support, including physical interventions, for students exhibiting severe behavioral challenges
  • Assist students with daily activities such as eating, drinking, and toileting as necessary
  • Monitor and document behavioral data to evaluate and track student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student behavior
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Superintendent or designated representative
