Key Responsibilities- Activity Planning and Implementation: Assist in planning, developing, and implementing a variety of activities that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents.
- Resident Engagement: Encourage resident participation in activities and provide support and assistance as needed.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of resident attendance, activity calendars, and other relevant documentation.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the activities coordinator and other team members to ensure seamless delivery of activities and services.
- Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in activity planning and delivery.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma required; experience in a similar role in retirement living, nursing homes, or adult day care preferred.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and push a minimum of 200 pounds.
