Medical Laboratory Specialist

We are seeking a skilled MEDICAL LABORATORY SPECIALIST to join our team at GTT, LLC. As a Medical Laboratory Specialist, you will be responsible for testing patient samples and maintaining accurate records.
Salary: $35 - 45/hour based on experience and qualifications
About the RoleThis is a bench-level position that requires strong laboratory skills and attention to detail. You will work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations and maintain high-quality results.
- Follow established laboratory procedures for specimen handling, testing, and record-keeping.
- Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures.
- Review and release test results while adhering to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of patient test results and quality control activities.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A solid understanding of basic laboratory testing principles.
- Good computer skills and ability to adapt to multiple computer systems.
- Knowledge of QC and QA procedures as well as all areas of the laboratory.
- Experience with flow cytometry.
