We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Authorization & Account Verification Specialist. This role is responsible for validating and securing authorization for Advanced Radiology's diagnostic testing services.
**Responsibilities:**
- Validate orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Obtain and verify patient insurance eligibility and prior authorization requirements.
- Communicate with patients, providers, and insurance companies to resolve discrepancies and obtain necessary documentation.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on pending and denied authorizations.
- Participate in training and development sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
**Requirements:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 1-2 years of experience in healthcare preferred.
- Knowledge of health insurance eligibility, authorization guidelines, and coordination of benefits.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
**Salary:** $55,000 - $65,000 per year,
depending on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
