Our team dedicated to Business Products & Services collaborates with internal partners across various sectors, including banking and capital markets, to formulate comprehensive global category strategies. We focus on achieving significant cost reductions while managing risks effectively.

Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Category Manager, you will oversee the complete procurement process for business line products and services, which include card production, print services, equipment maintenance, business process outsourcing (BPO), and call center operations.
  • Develop a deep understanding of stakeholders' business objectives to create category and supplier strategies that enhance customer satisfaction globally.
  • Establish and nurture strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including business executives, finance teams, and legal advisors.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis, build partnerships with leading suppliers, and manage negotiations to secure advantageous terms for FIS.
  • Identify potential category risks proactively and collaborate with internal risk management teams to ensure compliance with all necessary regulations.
  • Act as a mentor and leader, demonstrating the ability to achieve results through team collaboration and individual contributions.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 8 years of experience in strategic sourcing, particularly in product and operations categories such as card services, print, equipment, call centers, and BPO.
  • Proven project management capabilities with a history of successful procurement initiatives, savings achievements, and process enhancements.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate key success factors and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Experience in leading negotiations, understanding the balance between business and financial considerations, and managing complex contractual agreements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications such as Certified Purchasing Manager or Certified Professional in Supply Management.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
  • A master's degree in supply chain management, business, finance, or a related discipline.
