Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers in a polite and respectful manner.
- Prepare vessels for handover by meticulously cleaning both the interior and exterior, ensuring all surfaces are spotless. Attention to detail is crucial, as there are often hidden areas that require thorough cleaning.
- Maintain the cleanliness of stock vessels, ensuring they are ready for customer viewing.
- Support the Service Department by cleaning service vessels as needed.
- Organize and arrange boats on the lot using appropriate equipment to fulfill management requests.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
- Utilize necessary protective gear during tasks.
- Inform supervisors when a vessel requires additional maintenance.
- Approach tasks with a focus on efficiency, minimizing waste of supplies.
- Keep the work area tidy, organized, and free of clutter at all times.
- Assist with general yard maintenance as directed.
- Ensure tools and equipment are well-maintained, reporting any issues to supervisors.
- Contribute to the overall upkeep of the yard by managing waste and organizing supplies.
- Clean facilities and service vehicles as instructed.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of boat shows, including transporting vessels, arranging displays, and maintaining cleanliness during events.
- Participate in all required meetings.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
