Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team at TIC Southern District. As an EMT, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees and visitors on-site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer audiometric, respiratory fit, and pulmonary function tests to employees
  • Provide first aid to injured or ill employees and emergency medical support to critically ill patients
  • Coordinate and conduct drug and alcohol testing
  • Assist in monitoring the activities of heavy industrial construction projects to ensure compliance with governmental regulations and company policies
  • Review project work plans for accuracy and assist in environmental health and safety program audits, coaching, and training
  • Present during new hire safety training and safety meetings
  • Monitor construction work for compliance with environmental health and safety requirements
Requirements
  • Texas issued EMT License
  • Experience as an EMT, Paramedic, or RN
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety (OSHA) or equivalent degree/work experience
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, rotating nights and days every 6-9 weeks
  • Knowledge of construction safety and current Federal and OSHA requirements
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail
