About the Role

Hutchinson Health is seeking a dynamic and experienced nurse manager to lead our 12-bed Inpatient Mental Health Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the clinical management, supervision of patient care, and administrative duties in Inpatient Mental Health Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff in the Inpatient Mental Health Unit
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with the VP of Patient Care Svcs./CNO and Mental Health Medical Director to achieve departmental goals and objectives
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing coaching and development opportunities as needed
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Current MN RN license
  • 3-7 years of clinical experience in Mental Health, with a focus on leadership and management
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience in supervising and evaluating staff
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
  • Sound clinical judgment and ability to make informed decisions
