About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Carrier. As an Apprentice, you will play a critical role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our customers by installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and diagnose HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation
  • Perform regular maintenance on heating and cooling units
  • Install, replace, or repair damaged equipment and calibrate thermostatic controls
  • Install new HVAC systems and repair or replace damaged parts and equipment
  • Inspect and service refrigeration equipment, including refrigerators, ice machines, and heat pumps
  • Maintain chilled and hot water supply systems
  • Adjust and maintain internal electrical and electronic control systems
  • Assemble and install metal ductwork
  • Assist in planning and designing new HVAC installations
  • Maintain maintenance records as required by City, State, and EPA regulations
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Minimum of 3+ years of practical working experience in the HVAC Industry
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to enter into the Union Apprentice Program or currently enrolled
  • Push/pull/lift up to 50lbs
