Job Title: Electrical Technician

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team at EMCOR Group. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and install electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to job specifications and local codes.
  • Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components.
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
  • Use a variety of tools and equipment, including power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment.
  • Repair and install electrical devices such as receptacles, light fixtures, light switches, lighting ballast, motors, and other equipment.
  • Assist in maintaining building common and electrical spaces in a neat, orderly, and safe condition.
  • Accomplish work in accordance with blueprints and specifications, and national and local codes.
  • Update as-built drawings as necessary, according to department policies.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Knowledge of the electrical construction industry and the National Electrical Code and design are desirable but not necessary.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, cooperate, and collaborate with multiple levels of customers, employees.
