Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Driver to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting residents to their appointments, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport residents to their appointments in a timely and safe manner
  • Develop an understanding of the patient's/resident's physical and emotional status
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required by the Department of Transportation and internal policies
  • Ensure all support equipment is well-maintained and in good operating condition

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with diverse populations
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
