About the Role

Postpartum Wellness is a leading provider of maternal mental health services, delivering comprehensive treatment to individuals and couples in the Washington, DC area.

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team, providing hands-on treatment, therapy sessions, and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions on topics such as depression, anxiety, stress, and other perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs).
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each client, working closely with our clinical team.
  • Complete comprehensive assessments and treatment planning, including biopsychosocial, self-harm, and suicide assessments.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical paperwork, including treatment plans, progress notes, and termination notes.
  • Participate in case consultation and staff meetings to ensure high-quality care and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
  • Active, unrestricted license (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT, or LCPC) in Washington, DC.
  • At least one year of experience post-unrestricted licensure.
  • Commitment to providing quality maternal mental health services and a positive work environment.
