Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Flowback Operator to join our team at Knock Out Energy, LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate collection and reporting of well data, troubleshooting and performing equipment maintenance, and ensuring the safe operation of our well sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and report well data on an hourly basis, with a strong understanding of well variance and data interpretation.
  • Perform ongoing dumping of sand from separators and pulling sand filter screens for cleaning.
  • Work safely and independently on remote locations, with minimal supervision.
  • Understand and maintain equipment functionality, with the ability to perform routine maintenance.
  • Identify and report safety concerns to the supervisor.
  • Manage location safety, including recognizing hazards and taking necessary precautions.
  • Read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and procedure documents.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of previous production flowback experience.
  • Experience operating surface pressure control and separation equipment.
  • Strong understanding of pressures in tubing and casing, and ability to recognize differential pressure.
  • Ability to adjust back pressure regulators and change orifice plates.
  • Skilled at collecting and sampling well fluid, checking chloride and oil API gravity.
  • Thorough knowledge of well opening sequence procedure and separator functionality.
  • Ability to independently perform filter operations and comprehend the separation process of oil, gas, water, and solids.
  • Physical and safety requirements, including lifting up to 100 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with long and irregular hours, and changes in locations of work assignments. The position requires working in the field setting, with various conditions consisting of wet, cold, and/or humid conditions at well sites, working near moving mechanical parts, vibration, loud noise, potential fumes or airborne particles, and exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals.
