Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Meat Sales Associate to join our team at WEIS LLC. As a Meat Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized meat department, and ensuring that our customers have a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making product recommendations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized meat department, including restocking shelves, rotating product, and ensuring that all products are properly priced and signed.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including weighing and wrapping merchandise, applying stickers, and maintaining necessary logs.
  • Assist with receiving, unloading, and storing deliveries, as well as baling cardboard and other related duties.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the department and store.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No prior experience necessary, but a willingness to learn and take on new challenges is essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
