Key Responsibilities- Estimate projects using software such as Xactimate to create accurate scopes of work.
- Collaborate with the Operations team to gather field measurements, notes, plans, photo documentation, and materials necessary for project completion.
- Utilize your understanding of restoration and construction to create preliminary budgets and ensure successful project completion.
- Foster strong relationships with coworkers, clients, and subcontractors through effective communication and a service-oriented mindset.
- Proactively provide solutions for any problems that may arise and ensure the appropriate parties are kept up to date.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the restoration and construction industry.
- Xactimate level 2 certification and four current industry certifications.
- Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office and Microsoft Outlook.
- Intermediate ability to read blueprints and architectural plans.
- Intermediate knowledge of local, state, and federal code requirements.
- Knowledge and experience with construction drawings, specifications, and other construction-related documents.
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Must be able to work in a busy, service-oriented team environment under stress to meet deadlines and deal with competing priorities.
- Must be able to work overtime, on weekends, and respond 24/7 as needed.
- May be required to attend disaster sites and work in hazardous environments.
The salary for this role is between $90,000 and $110,000, based on skills, experience, seniority, merit, location, education, training, and need for travel.
