About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team at San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a critical role in building, maintaining, and troubleshooting our rapidly expanding infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and administer Nutanix, Veeam, Windows, Linux, and O365 server infrastructure
  • Monitor and resolve disruptions, outages, security violations, and attacks on server-related devices and services
  • Design, test, and deploy new systems, applications, and networks
  • Assess and diagnose system performance to increase efficiency and optimization
  • Implement and maintain server backup/recovery processes
  • Develop and implement project plans to support strategic infrastructure-related initiatives
Requirements
  • 3+ years' experience supporting an enterprise systems infrastructure
  • 2+ years' experience with Azure/Entra, O365/M365
  • Experience with Nutanix, Veeam preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent specialized training required
