In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting customer satisfaction, growth, and profitability by coordinating and maintaining all inside selling and office procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers in the showroom and via phone calls to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Convert in-store, phone-in, or website contacts into appointments for outside sales representatives.
  • Manage the accurate and timely input of customer information into our customer account management software.
  • Develop extensive product knowledge and the ability to navigate our quoting system.
  • Convert customer requests into quotes through our quoting system into accurate proposals/contracts.
  • Communicate customer product service needs to the customer service team in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the training and development of new employees.
  • Participate in promotional events to increase sales.
  • Manage mailings, filing, software updates, office supplies, and promotional literature inventories.
  • Proactively support all business segments within the showroom.
  • Responsible for promoting and generating Google reviews.
  • Make calls to facilitate appointments for outside representatives in the showroom.
  • Manage showroom housekeeping activities to maintain a clean, professional, and presentable office environment.
  • Exhibit the highest standard of personal ethics and adhere to all Gunton Corporation policies.
  • Perform additional responsibilities assigned by your manager.

Reporting Relationship: This role reports to the Inside Sales Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work at the showroom location Monday through Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm, and a rotating Saturday schedule.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a retail environment.
  • College degree is a plus.
