Job SummaryWe are seeking a Clinical Therapist to join our Foster Care & Adoption program. As a Clinical Therapist, you will work alongside a dedicated and compassionate treatment team to develop personalized, holistic treatment plans tailored to each individual's unique needs.
Responsibilities- Provide specialized training in evidence-based practices to support children and young adults in out-of-home care.
- Work with a diverse age group from infants to young adults (up to 21 years old).
- Develop and implement trauma-informed treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide services in both the office and therapeutic foster home environments.
- Master's Degree in a Human services field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, etc.).
- Associate or Independent Professional Licensure in the state of Kentucky (CSW, LPCA, LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, etc.).
- Experience working with children / family services within the previous two years.
- Extensive knowledge of family systems, dynamics of domestic violence, substance misuse, child abuse, parenting, child development or the cycle of violence required.
- Must possess strong crisis intervention skills and have firm knowledge of reporting laws.
