This position offers a unique chance to collaborate with a seasoned founding team that has successfully raised over $1 billion in funding across various previous projects, while also spearheading AI Research initiatives within the company.


In this position, you will partner with a committed team to bolster our IT security framework, concentrating on the deployment of effective security protocols and adherence to industry regulations.


Core Responsibilities:
Design and deploy security protocols to safeguard cloud and IT systems.

Ensure adherence to IT security regulations, particularly SOC2, DoD Cyber, and NIST standards.

Conduct security evaluations, audits, and penetration tests.

Monitor and address security incidents and vulnerabilities.

Develop and uphold security policies, procedures, and documentation.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to embed security best practices into the development lifecycle.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. A Master's degree is preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security roles, with a strong emphasis on cloud environments.

Experience with SOC2 compliance and DoD Cyber standards.

Familiarity with NIST controls and their implementation.

Experience in conducting security evaluations, audits, and penetration tests.

Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, identity management, and incident response.

Proficiency in security tools and technologies.

Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with remote DoD Cyber environments.

Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent.

Experience with cloud security frameworks (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Knowledge of regulatory requirements in cloud computing (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.).
