Here’s how a(n) Financial Analyst for our team contributes to our organization:

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides clerical and data entry support to fulfill contractual obligations for operational and fundamental financial tasks.
  • Ensures timely and precise processing of all accounts payable and receivable.
  • Delivers ad hoc reports and analyses to project teams as required.
  • Assists in gathering information for both internal and external financial reporting needs.
  • Compiles client billing packages in accordance with contract stipulations and guarantees prompt payment.
  • Prepares bank deposits and records cash receipt entries.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma.
  • A bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field is advantageous.
  • Some student experience or 6 months to 1 year of experience in accounting or administrative roles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with project forecasting and budgeting.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles, including ledger maintenance and cash flow management.
  • Experience with project costing principles, recoveries, insurance, and contract/subcontract accounting requirements.
  • Understanding of subcontract purchase order terms, including insurance and subcontractor default insurance requirements.
  • Basic knowledge of lien rights.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
