AnthroMed Education, a leading provider of speech services in Carroll County, MD, is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. We are dedicated to transforming the lives of students through exceptional speech services.

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and skilled SLP to serve students aged three to five years old in a school setting. The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders and a valid Maryland SLP license.

About the Role

As an AnthroMed SLP, you will assess students' speech-language abilities, develop tailored treatment plans, and deliver top-notch direct speech-language therapy services aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). You will also excel in assessments, interpret results, and craft insightful reports that pinpoint strengths and areas of improvement in speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral motor skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assess students' speech-language abilities and craft tailored treatment plans.
  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services aligned with IEPs.
  • Excel in assessments, interpret results, and craft insightful reports.
  • Stay at the forefront of your field, leveraging professional literature, evidence-based research, and continuous education.
  • Cultivate an engaging learning environment by implementing efficient process management strategies.
  • Collaborate with instructional staff to devise strength-based, child and family-centered treatment plans.
  • Ensure evaluations, intervention plans, and service delivery adhere to school, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Guide and support teachers in identifying and addressing speech and language delays/disorders.

Requirements

  • A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • A valid Maryland SLP license.
  • Previous experience in school-based and/or pediatric settings preferred.
