Early Childhood Educator

At New Beginnings Christian Learning Center, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Childcare Teacher/Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and care to our children.

Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience

We are looking for a qualified professional who is passionate about early childhood education and has a strong commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of planning and implementing engaging lesson plans, as well as building strong relationships with parents and colleagues.

Responsibilities:

• Classroom Management: Oversee the daily activities of the classroom, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation that meets the needs of all children.
• Curriculum Planning: Develop and implement MSDE-approved curriculum that is tailored to meet the individual needs of each child.
• Child Care: Provide top-notch care to children, including changing diapers, assisting with potty accidents, and maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
• Teamwork: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals and objectives.
• Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Must be at least 19 years old, have a Certificate in EC (Preschool) or equivalent, and be willing to obtain a MSDE credentialing level.
• Experience: Prior experience working in a licensed childcare facility is highly desirable.
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a passion for early childhood education.
