Job Title: CDL Class A Delivery Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CDL Class A Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer or straight truck to deliver food products to customers in a timely and efficient manner. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, communicating with customers and vendors, and performing pre- and post-trip inspections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck to deliver food products to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time, date, and product information.
  • Communicate with customers and vendors to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Load and unload products from the trailer, and secure the trailer doors.
  • Verify delivery of products with customers and obtain signatures.
  • Collect payment from customers, as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • 6 months commercial driving experience.
  • Valid CDL A license.
  • Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
  • Pass road test.
  • Valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card.
  • Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift.
