Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL Class B Delivery Driver to join our team at Performance Foodservice. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of food and food-related products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver and/or unload food and food-related products to customers.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip safety inspections and report any safety issues or repairs required.
  • Follow all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
  • Load and unload products from trailers, transport items into designated customer storage areas, and verify delivery of items with customers.
  • Collect money (cash or checks) where required and load customer returns onto trailers.
  • Ensure that tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and/or secured.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
  • Valid CDL-B
  • 12 months Driving Class B experience
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
  • Pass road test
  • Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card
