Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Activity Programs: Create and lead activity programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our patients, including recreational, educational, and therapeutic activities.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that activity programs are aligned with patient care plans and goals.
- Document Patient Progress: Accurately document patient participation and progress in activity programs, maintaining up-to-date records and reports.
- Maintain a Safe and Healthy Environment: Ensure that activity spaces and equipment are clean, safe, and well-maintained, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, families, and staff, promoting a positive and respectful environment.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Recreation Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation, or a related field.
- Experience: Two years of experience in recreational therapy or a related field, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Certifications: Current BLS certification and registration with a relevant professional organization, such as the American Art Therapy Association or the National Association for Music Therapy.
- Bilingual or Multilingual: Proficiency in English and one or more additional languages, such as Spanish, Vietnamese, or Chinese.
