We are seeking a highly skilled Special Procedures Tech PRN to join our team at Medical City Dallas. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our interventional radiologists in various procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Provide care and assistance to interventional radiologists during special procedures
- Ensure radiation safety protocols are followed
- Administer IV contrast in a surgical/radiological setting
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- State Registered Radiologic Technician
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification
- Certified Vascular Interventional Radiology certification (obtained within 1 year of employment start date)
- Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiology technology
- Three to five years of experience in special interventional radiology preferred
