Job Summary

Hammes Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Medical Billing Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the clinic. Your primary focus will be on managing administrative tasks, delivering excellent patient experiences, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process insurance claims and patient billing, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Manage patient payments and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Coordinate patient appointments, manage multiple practitioners' calendars, and optimize scheduling for efficiency.
  • Provide exceptional patient interaction, including greeting patients warmly and assisting with inquiries.
  • Maintain organized records, handle correspondence, and support the team with various administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in medical administration, with a strong focus on insurance billing and payment processing.
  • Familiarity with chiropractic terminology and procedures is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and a friendly demeanor.
  • Proficiency in office software and practice management systems.
