Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine workload requirements from catering orders and coordinate staff schedules to ensure timely delivery of functions.
  • Meet with function group leaders to discuss setup arrangements, address last-minute changes, and resolve problems.
  • Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a service-oriented manner.
  • Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and instruct staff on work expectations for catered functions.
  • Help staff set up rooms to desired specifications, assemble and deliver food and supplies to scheduled locations, and serve food and beverages to guests.
  • Return food, beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the catering facility, ensuring proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures.
  • Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils, and ensure proper food preparation by following approved recipes and production standards.

Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license may be required.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit where required by state law.
