Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify and implement best practices across multiple Human Spaceflight programs
  • Establish and implement short- and long-range organizational goals, objectives, and strategic plans
  • Track and report actual costs to allocated organizational budget and provide recommendations for cost reduction and performance improvement
  • Analyze complex problems and develop integrated and innovative solutions to meet the needs of our clients
  • Provide project management and leadership for projects within the team
  • Develop and implement personnel management and mentoring programs to support team growth and development
  • Perform mid-year employee evaluations and yearly performance appraisals to assess employees' execution of planned products and services
Requirements
  • BS/BA degree or higher in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or Management from an accredited Engineering school, college, or university
  • Seven (7) or more years of professional experience in management, operations, or systems integration
  • Progressive leadership roles and responsibilities demonstrated through experience base
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals
  • Ability to resolve problems, interpret policies, and demonstrate solid knowledge of contract requirements, processes, and procedures
  • Analytical, evaluative, and objective critical thinking skills
  • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities
  • Team-oriented and able to effectively lead the team to success while ensuring team members are effectively utilized and career goals are managed
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of Systems Integration Engineering in the areas including but not limited to: management of technical requirements, mission integration
Essential Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation
