Job Title: Systems Integrator

Oceaneering is a global leader in cutting-edge technology, serving the energy, defense, aerospace, manufacturing, and entertainment industries. We're seeking a skilled Systems Integrator to join our team.

Job Summary

The Systems Integrator will be responsible for understanding complex systems, particularly interfaces and interdependencies. They will apply model-based systems engineering best practices to develop models of systems, create interface control documents, and work with software development and architectures. The ideal candidate will have experience with autonomous systems, software verification and validation processes, and complex distributed systems.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain complex systems models
  • Create interface control documents and software development plans
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems
  • Apply model-based systems engineering best practices
  • Perform other duties as required
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in the field or related area
  • Experience with software verification and validation processes
  • Experience with complex distributed systems
  • Experience with developing software using C/C++ in a Linux environment
  • Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS NG
  • Experience with web-based collaboration tools
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with tools such as Confluence, Gitlab, JIRA, MS Teams, Slack, Sharepoint
  • Strong evidence of success in highly collaborative projects/environments
  • Ability to succeed in fast-paced environments
  • Flexibility and openness to new challenges
  • Strong technical expertise combined with verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with little supervision
  • Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with strong work ethic
  • Excellent communicator, particularly written communication, and visual diagram creation
  • Scripting languages such as Python
  • Agile software development
  • NASA software and systems development standards
  • NASA Gateway Spacecraft systems and software including the Core Flight System (CFS) software infrastructure
