Areté is seeking a Technical Services Manager (TSM) to establish a team of highly skilled Engineering Service Representatives (ESR). This pivotal role is essential for our future growth in servicing the systems developed by Areté, both domestically and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with system operators for the maintenance and troubleshooting of deployed systems.
  • Develop and uphold processes and procedures for Engineering Services aligned with customer maintenance program requirements.
  • Execute necessary Engineering Service activities until a dedicated team can be formed.
  • Recruit and oversee a team of Engineering Service Representatives to ensure coverage and capability as dictated by contracts.
  • Contribute to program meetings through content creation and presentations.
  • Embodies Areté's core values in all professional settings.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to guarantee effective field operations.
  • Prepare and deliver technical briefings.
  • Maintain comprehensive logs and documentation of work performed for both internal and customer use.
  • May require prompt travel to ensure optimal uptime and availability of customer capabilities.

Preferred Experience:

  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Optical Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
  • Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret / SCI and SAP access.
  • A minimum of 8 years in Engineering Support Services.
  • Familiarity with high-performance computing (HPC) and VNIR/MWIR optical sensing systems.
  • Experience with Linux and process development.
  • Ability to work independently in field environments.

Additional Preferences:

  • Experience in high-performance computing (HPC).
  • Proficiency in Linux and Bash scripting.
  • Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI access.
  • Current Polygraph (Counterintelligence).

The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $140,000, considering various factors such as responsibilities, work experience, education, and skills.

Eligibility Requirements:

U.S. citizenship is required for this position. Selected candidates will undergo a government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information. A background check and a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug test are mandatory.
