Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical expertise and leadership to the nursing team, ensuring high-quality patient care and outcomes.
- Develop and implement educational programs for staff, students, and patients to promote evidence-based practice and improve patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement unit-based policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care.
- Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless transitions of care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical trends and research, applying evidence-based practice to improve patient outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Cardiology or Critical Care setting.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Georgia.
- Nursing certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Cardiology, Critical Care) preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
This position requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting of objects up to 25 pounds. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with exposure to bio-hazardous waste, chemicals, and other environmental hazards. The ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities is essential.
