Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Strong Communication and Customer Service Skills: Greet patients and visitors in a respectful manner, answering internal and external calls in a friendly and helpful way.
  • Process Admission Paperwork: Verify demographics, obtain insurance cards and identification, and update medical records accurately and efficiently.
  • Schedule Appointments: Transcribe orders, explain financial options to patients, and coordinate bed placement needs to ensure prompt and appropriate placement of patients.

Requirements:

  • High School Degree or Equivalent: Prior experience in the healthcare field or a related area is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Engage with staff and patients in a professional manner, possessing problem-solving skills and basic computer skills.
  • Typing Speed: 40 WPM typing speed with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
