We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team at Protective Services Group, Inc. This role is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our airport facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot and/or vehicle to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
  • Monitor entrances and exits, permitting authorized personnel to enter while denying access to unauthorized individuals.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities, preparing thorough reports to document findings.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of emergency policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring seamless execution in high-pressure situations.
  • Complete daily activity logs, log attendance entries, and submit incident reports in a timely manner.
  • Provide recommendations to management on improving safety and loss prevention strategies during regular routine inspections.
  • Ensure the continuous and safe operation of relevant equipment, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and company protocols.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to walk and stand for periods of time, potentially exceeding several hours.
  • Occasional brief exposure to elements such as rain or sunlight may occur.

Additional Information
