Exceptional Veterinary Care Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency department at Animal Specialty Center (ASC), a leading veterinary hospital in the region. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their families.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of veterinarians and veterinary technicians, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and radiographs
  • Triage and assess patients, obtaining vital signs and providing critical thinking and nursing care
  • Assist with anesthesia, surgery prep, and patient recovery
  • Run in-house lab testing and use of Cubex, filling prescriptions and dispensing oral and IV medications
  • Administer medications and provide client education
  • Participate in advanced skills training, including central lines, urinary catheters, and nasogastric tubes
