We are seeking a highly qualified faculty member in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus to join our esteemed department at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of pediatric ophthalmological conditions
  • Teach and mentor residents, fellows, and students in pediatric ophthalmology and related subspecialties
  • Pursue innovative research projects in pediatric ophthalmology, with opportunities for collaboration and interdisciplinary approaches
  • Contribute to departmental and institutional service, including committee work, peer review, and professional organizations
Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A medical degree (M.D. or equivalent) and completion of postgraduate residency training in ophthalmology
  • Fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus
  • Demonstrated expertise in pediatric ophthalmology, as evidenced by publications, presentations, and other academic achievements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
