Job Summary:

This role involves ensuring that products meet quality standards and specifications. The successful candidate will have a high level of experience working with suppliers, vendors, and making decisions on new acquisitions, as well as defining and assuring internal processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular internal quality inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure they maintain quality specifications, conducting supplier audits and evaluations as necessary.
  • Perform various tests and analyses on products using specialized equipment and techniques to identify defects, inconsistencies, or deviations from quality standards.
  • Report findings to relevant stakeholders, including quality managers, production supervisors, or engineers.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance product quality, efficiency, and consistency.
  • Investigate the root causes of quality issues or non-conformities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Provide training to production staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Quality Control.
  • Expertise in metal or electrical or chemical manufacturing processes and quality control methods.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Capability to define Quality KPIs using data analysis.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations, quality standards (such as ISO 9001), and compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge in Six Sigma and lean Manufacturing methodologies for their implementation.
  • High negotiation and influential skills to work with vendors and internal teams.
  • Languages: English and Spanish.
