Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Groove Auto. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel-powered vehicles and machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and diagnose diesel-powered vehicles and machines to identify maintenance and repair needs.
  • Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex diesel engine problems, including issues with fuel systems, transmissions, and electrical systems.
  • Conduct road tests to ensure vehicles are operating safely and efficiently.
  • Document all work performed and recommended on repair orders.
  • Communicate with service managers to ensure timely completion of repairs and to discuss additional work needed.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic or service technician.
  • Valid driver's license and favorable motor vehicle record.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
