Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of various products, including golf cars, utility vehicles, snowmobiles, and professional turf-care equipment.
The company markets its products under several different brands, catering to diverse environments such as golf courses, factories, airports, theme parks, and hunting preserves.
Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain quality standards for inspection processes and materials to ensure product reliability and minimize defects.
- Conduct field audits and vendor evaluations to investigate manufacturing or field issues as needed.
- Maintain implemented standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
- Monitor and improve key supply chain KPI's, including parts per million (PPM), line disruptions, and days to close non-conforming material tickets (NCMT).
- Facilitate the deployment of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) in response to quality issues and customer complaints through cross-functional team coordination.
- Analyze technical instructions and data from company metrics, vendor metrics, and inspection data to provide technical support and information to other departments, vendors, and customers.
- Support a small team of Quality Inspectors for assigned areas to ensure processes are followed and production is supported.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field required; 10+ years of technical experience in lieu of degree.
- Experience: 0-2 years with degree, 10+ years of relevant technical experience without degree.
- Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office Applications, CAD, ERP/MRP preferred.
- Able to read part/assembly blueprints and understand Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) preferred.
Compensation: Estimated salary range $65,000 - $95,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
