Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and efficient Cashier to join our team at Harps Food Stores. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process purchases through the register system, following company guidelines and ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, giving customers undivided attention and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Sack or assist with the sacking of customers' orders, ensuring items are properly packaged and ready for pickup.
  • Ensure food safety by bagging different types of raw meat and toxic items separately, following company protocols.
  • Adhere to all laws and regulations restricting certain transactions, maintaining a high level of integrity and professionalism.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You should be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time. Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred.
