Position Overview: IT-XY GmbH is seeking to enhance our team with an additional Associate/Sr. Associate focused on investments in Enterprise IT.

About IT-XY GmbH:

We are an independent venture capital firm with a robust network of Limited Partners (LPs) from the Financial Services and Insurance sectors. Our funds are designed to invest in InsurTech, FinTech, HealthTech, PropTech, and various horizontal enterprise technologies such as AI/ML, Cloud Infrastructure, Information Security, Automation, and Digital Customer Experience. Our unique advantage lies in leveraging our LP base, which collectively represents significant annual enterprise IT expenditure, to facilitate initial customer and partner engagements for our portfolio companies, thereby accelerating their go-to-market strategies.

Experience Required:

  • Extensive knowledge in Enterprise IT.
  • 2-6 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in Venture Capital/Private Equity or a high-growth enterprise IT company with a strong network of startups.
  • A background in engineering or computer science is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage investment opportunities from inception to completion.
  • Draft and present investment proposals.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments and present findings in partner meetings.
  • Perform in-depth research on emerging markets and industries of interest.
  • Collaborate with startups on strategic initiatives to drive growth.
  • Engage in ecosystem development.
  • Support corporate innovation efforts with our LP network.
  • Facilitate commercialization partnerships for portfolio companies.
  • Assist partners with various firm-related matters as needed.
