Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our software development team at Rockwell Automation. As a Scrum Master, you will play a key role in helping the team self-organize, self-manage, and achieve its goals by Agile/Lean/Scrum practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support creating project plans and managing project schedules
  • Estimate risks and effort, and accomplish project goals
  • Grow an environment for learning and relentless improvement
  • Help the agile team coordinate dependencies with other teams and communicate status of these dependencies
  • Collaborate with other agile teams to promote best practices and lessons learned to increase team and project performance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with concentration in software, or equivalent knowledge in software engineering
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Software Development/Test, or other related role
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in an Agile development environment
  • In-depth knowledge of agile methodologies and techniques
  • Experience as a Scrum Master (with certification) and Agile coach
  • Previous experience in a leadership role
  • Certification as Agile Coach
  • Knowledge of, or experience with Rockwell Automation products or other industrial control equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and related experience
  • 4+ years of experience aligning and translating business strategy and needs into solution outcomes, breaking it down into Epics, features, and user stories with a clear definition of success
  • 3+ years with Agile development and SCRUM/SAFE methodologies
  • Planning and discussions to lead vision, scope, requirements clarity
  • Knowledge of ADF, Data Engineering, SQL, and Data modelling
