About the Role

We are seeking a talented Young Investigator to join our team at the Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence. As a Young Investigator, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects, collaborate with our team of experts, and contribute to the development of innovative AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in AI and machine learning, with a focus on developing intelligent systems that can improve the productivity and discovery experience of scientists.
  • Collaborate with our team to design and implement AI solutions that can accelerate scientific research.
  • Develop and maintain open-source software to improve access to our research.
  • Contribute to the development of collaborative relationships with relevant academic, industrial, government, and standards organizations.
Requirements
  • PhD in Computer Science or related field, with a focus on AI and machine learning.
  • Strong publication record in AI-related areas, with a focus on developing intelligent systems that can improve the productivity and discovery experience of scientists.
  • Strong software engineering skills, with experience in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on developing innovative AI solutions.
