About the Role

We are seeking a talented Postdoctoral Young Investigator to join our AllenNLP team at the Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI research and development, collaborating with world-class researchers and engineers to advance the field of natural language processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in natural language processing, with a focus on developing innovative AI systems that can understand and generate human language.
  • Collaborate with our team to design and implement new AI models and algorithms, and to evaluate their performance on a range of tasks.
  • Develop and maintain open-source software tools for NLP research, and contribute to the development of our AllenNLP library.
  • Present research findings at conferences and workshops, and publish papers in top-tier journals and conferences.

The AllenNLP team is a dynamic and collaborative group of researchers and engineers who are passionate about advancing the field of AI. We work closely with other teams at the Allen Institute to develop and apply AI technologies to a range of applications, from language understanding to computer vision.

Requirements
  • A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Linguistics, or a related field.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a team of researchers and engineers.
