The iWaste Support Specialist plays a vital role in the efficiency and effectiveness of our customers' waste and recycling programs. This position is responsible for handling all notification cases generated from our waste monitoring systems, ensuring timely and accurate scheduling of compactor hauls, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling Compactor Hauls
    • Interpret graph data and event logs in our monitoring system
    • Understand compactor function and operation
    • Create and manage purchase orders, sales orders, and cases in our internal system
    • Confirm haul requests with haulers and notify customers of confirmed pickups
  • Alerting Customer Service of Site Issues
    • Investigate open repair issues or stop service tasks in our internal system
    • Recognize when customer care is needed and take appropriate action
    • Understand stop service task creation and implementation
  • Flagging Devices Needing Technical Assistance
    • Understand pressure data and monitor functions
    • Locate pertinent information in our monitoring system
    • Describe or explain technical issues to analysts
    • Find and navigate open support cases in our internal system
  • Data Entry and Management
    • Correct or enter data in our internal system
    • Update device information in our monitoring system
    • Edit and create Excel worksheets
    • Navigate our SharePoint site
Requirements
  • College degree preferred and/or 2 or more years of relevant experience
  • Ability to efficiently multitask and work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt easily to change and prioritize tasks
  • Good time management skills and ability to work independently and as a team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Compensation

$20-$21 hourly wage
