About the Role:
The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Solutions Architect team collaborates with clients to design and construct highly scalable, adaptable, and resilient cloud infrastructures and solutions.
AWS Solutions Architects work closely with AWS Sales and various AWS teams to tackle customer business challenges and expedite the adoption of AWS services.
As a trusted advocate for our customers, Solutions Architects guide organizations in understanding best practices surrounding advanced cloud-based solutions and offer strategic advice for migrating existing workloads to the cloud.
You will play a crucial role in driving successful business outcomes across a diverse range of enterprise clients through your enthusiasm for educating, training, designing, and developing cloud solutions.
This position provides the opportunity to shape and implement a strategy that fosters deep adoption and widespread use of AWS within your enterprise clients, mobilizing resources within AWS and collaborating with our extensive partner network.
Travel is primarily regional, with expectations post-pandemic at around 15-20%.

Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in specific technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
- 3+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructures.
- 10+ years of experience in IT development or implementation/consulting within the software or Internet industries.
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
- Familiarity with SAP systems (such as SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and experience working with end-user or developer communities.
