About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon Web Services, Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, flexible, and resilient technical architectures for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions using AWS managed services such as Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (MSK), Amazon Kinesis Data Streams, Amazon Data Firehose, and Amazon Managed Service for Apache Flink.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their complex challenges and provide expert-level knowledge to solve them.
  • Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide.
  • Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population to help them understand how to integrate Amazon Web Services solutions into customer architectures.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
  • 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or consulting.
  • Experience working with end user or developer communities.
  • Cloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional or Cloud DevOps Engineering).
