Job Title: Veterinary Surgery Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Veterinary Surgery Technician to join our team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a Veterinary Surgery Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinary surgeons in the operating room.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist veterinary surgeons with surgical procedures, including preparing patients for surgery, maintaining asepsis, and monitoring anesthesia.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
  • Collaborate with veterinary surgeons and other team members to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including medical history, treatment plans, and outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Veterinary Surgery Technician or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with veterinary surgeons, nurses, and other team members.
  • Ability to maintain a calm and composed demeanor in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more, with or without assistance.
