Job Title: Veterinary Surgery Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Veterinary Surgery Technician to join our team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a key member of our surgical team, you will provide primary support to our specialists, ensuring the best quality of care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to specialists with incoming consultations and procedures, including pre-operative testing, patient preparation, and anesthesia management.
  • Assist with surgical procedures, including setting up induction stations, preparing patients for surgery, and monitoring patient vitals.
  • Document patient information, including vital signs, medication administration, and surgical procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with doctors, nurses, and clients to ensure accurate and timely information exchange.
  • Maintain a clean and organized surgical environment, adhering to safety protocols and acceptable sanitation practices.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a veterinary technician or assistant.
  • Ability to perform all key responsibilities of a veterinary surgery technician.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures, medical terminology, and equipment operation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, with a focus on patient safety and well-being.
